Terms of Service

These terms set the rules for using this site. They also cover the web work we build for you. We keep them plain and fair. Read them before you start a project with us.

Clear scope, fixed terms

Every project starts with a written scope. We agree on deliverables, timeline and price up front. No surprise line items.

02

You own the code

Once you pay in full, the custom code we write is yours. We hand over the repository and the keys. Full transfer, no lock-in.

03

Built in the EU

We are an EU-based team. These terms follow EU law. We work across time zones and keep records of every agreement.

1Agreement to these terms

These terms cover your use of codechefs.dev. They also cover any service you book with us. By using the site or hiring our team, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2Our services

Code Chefs builds custom web products. We deliver design and engineering under one roof. Each engagement is defined in a separate written proposal. That proposal sets the exact scope, milestones and fees. It works alongside these terms.

3Quotes, payment and scope

We scope each project before work starts. Fixed-scope options are quoted as a flat fee. Larger builds may be billed by milestone. Invoices are due within the days stated on each invoice. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately first.

4Intellectual property

You keep ownership of the content and assets you give us. The custom code we write transfers to you on full payment. We may reuse general tools, libraries and know-how on other projects. We never reuse your private data or brand assets.

5Client responsibilities

Good work needs good input. Please give us timely feedback and access. Provide the content, accounts and approvals we need. Delays on these can shift the timeline. We will always flag the impact in writing.

6Warranties and support

We build to a high standard and test before launch. We fix defects in delivered work for the warranty window in your proposal. Ongoing maintenance is offered as a separate, optional plan. We do not disappear after launch.

7Liability

We work hard to ship reliable software. Still, no team can promise zero faults. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the affected work. We are not liable for indirect or knock-on losses. Nothing here limits rights you hold under law.

8Governing law and changes

These terms follow the laws of the European Union and our country of registration. We may update them as our services grow. The current version always lives on this page. Major changes are dated at the top.
